Telugu actor and son of actor-turned-politician Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan Teja was engaged to his long-time girlfriend Kamineni Upasana at a lavish ceremony held at a farm house in Hyderabad on Thursday night.

The engagement has brought together two most well-known families of Andhra Pradesh.

Upasana is the granddaughter of Pratap C. Reddy, Chairman of Apollo Hospitals.

Politicians, film stars and prominent personalities from various walks of life attended the ceremony held at "Temple Trees" farmhouse of the Reddy family amid tight security arrangements.
