broke up with Dino Morea. The two were spotted together many times at events and parties.
Confirming her engagement, Lara Dutta first spoke to a publication and came clean on her relationship with Mahesh Bhupathi. The actress says Mahesh proposed to her during the recent US open and it took her completely by surprise.
Mahesh’s tweet was further confirmation.
The relationship has witnessed many ups and downs. Mahesh Bhupathi’s ex-wife Shwetha Jaishankar had blamed Lara for the divorce between her and Mahesh, but Lara Dutta had strongly denied such allegations.
On marriage, Lara says that since both of them are busy, it’s not on cards any time this year.
So now, it’s a happy beginning for both Lara and Mahesh. Good wishes have started pouring in from Bollywood celebrities.

It is a great shame for the Indian Culture that the married man especially a Christian leaves his wife and going before another woman. Since they are public figures they have the responsibility that divorce is not a solution for the life.
They are really cheating the whole India. They are much more criminals than the terrorists those who are attacking us. So please don't encourage divorces and remarriages, it will affect our future India.
I don't like their marriage and surely they also will separate on day. How Lara can accept a man who left his wife and going before another?
